Kids

Bismillah

There is something beautiful about small kids. They have sincerity in their hearts that they will never intentionally hurt us, the so-called adults, even though the things that they blurt out could sometimes be quite painful.

Conversation #1

Kid 1: Teacher, teacher ni bibik eh?
Me:  *shocked* Haaa? Kenapa awak cakap macam tu? Teacher nampak macam bibik ke?
Kid 1: Tadi saya nampak teacher kat bawah, tengah basuh pinggan.
Me: *laugh* Mak awak pun basuh pinggan jugak, tapi mak awak bukan bibik, kan?
Kid 1: *smile*

To them,

Premise 1: Bibik(s) in Malaysia wash dishes.
Premise 2: My job description in the kindergarten includes washing dishes for the kids.
Conclusion: This makes me one of the successful bibik(s) in Malaysia now  -__-"

Hhahahah! Lawak la awak ni, saje nak bagi teacher malu eh?

This is soooo funny that I literally laughed. I never thought of being called bibik before, by anyone (but for sure lah, dalam hati masa kali pertama diterangkan tentang pekerjaan yang aku kena buat tu, rasa macam orang gaji juga sebenarnya), really. I didn't take that remark as an offense anyway, because that boy meant no harm, he didn't want to insult me or anything, I know that.

One good thing that I learnt from being a part-time 'bibik' there is I need to be more patient, anywhere I go, at any circumstances.

Conversation #2

Kid 2: Mak saya kata kesian kat teacher sebab macam bibik.
Me: Haa, kenapa? Mak awak pun pernah tengok teacher basuh pinggan ke?
Kid 2: Tak ada lah, saya yang cerita kat mak saya.
Me: *laugh*

Yang ni pun satu. Boleh pulak dia cerita kat mak dia pasal aku. Hhahaha. Lawak la! Hee, but seriously, I don't mind. At least, ada orang care pasal saya. :P

Conversation #3

Kid 3: Teacher, depa main kat bawah. Depa tak mau naik. *there are some Kedahan words uttered by this young boy but I couldn't recall the other words*
Me: *smile* Awak ni orang utara eh?
Kid 3: *with his innocent sweet face* Tak lah!
Me: Habis tu, awak orang apa?
Kid 3: Saya orang Islam.
Me: *giggle*

Awwww! His quick reply was just so sweet that I was truly touched by that.

I am truly grateful that He asked me to work there. I got to meet lots of kids who are beautiful in their own unique way.

Alhamdulillah.
