Allahu Ya Hafiz
Bismillahirahmanirrahim.
I just watched a documentary about a meteorite hitting our atmosphere near a small town in Russia. It happened 4 years ago - February 2013 (before starting A-levels at KMS woots). It didn't land anywhere on Earth though. It exploded and nearly entered our planet but truly Allah saved - always saves - us, the Earth inhabitants. That humongous rock managed to leave us some 'souvenirs' including a 5-foot long rock that weighs 1,000 pound after causing some severe damages to buildings in 5-6 districts affected, near to where it was spotted.
The documentary on Nat Geo then showed a discovery by NASA of SOOOOO MANY giant deadly asteroids that are currently surrounding our planet, lurking outside the atmosphere, waiting to strike us perhaps - or probably watching over us rather than imposing any danger, no?
Only Allah knows how the impact of that mere 'letusan udara' caused by that single meteorite can kill thousands of lives without waiting for any living soul to blink. But He knows best that the footage of this meteorite can be a huge blow to people whose hearts beat for Him that He didn't take any life on that historic day. He knows best that human beings still deserve - or simply need - a second chance to notice His BIG BIG mercy. To bow to His power and be awakened by the message on the billboard that says "Allah, the Guardian who never sleeps is waking you up right now!".
At the time when we thought that we escaped the meteorite simply "because we are lucky", we got it all wrong. We aren't lucky, we don't live depending on luck. Never will do.
Because Allah takes care of the heaven and this earth, as much as He holds our beating heart, firm. The little creature guarded in this fragile body that can surely stop whenever He has destined it to be.
Wa la haw la wala quwwata illa billahil 'Aliyyil 'Azim.
